Motherhood comes with a lot of changes— physical, mental, and emotional. And these changes, along with the daily mayhem (and monotony) of momming, can become so consuming that you get lost in being a mom.  

Before you know it, episodes of Bluey and Tik Toks about making mess-free toddler activities are all you can talk about. Not only do you not know what you’re interested in anymore, but you don’t recognize the woman in the mirror, who keeps losing her temper and crying. 

It’s a lot, I know—I’ve been there, on several occasions. Losing your identity happens a hell of a lot faster than losing the baby weight. The good news though is that we can regain our identities and be the women we want to be!

From the daily demands and a lack of alone time, to the random temper tantrums and sick days— the mayhem of momming is exhausting on a physical and emotional level.
